Artwork Description:
This deconstructivist or neo-cubist painting of a woman merged with a man is a well-autobiographical portrait of Nicholaas Chiao together with his Belarus girlfriend Daria, also an artist. He has a very special relationship with this woman. However, she often did not respond to his love, yet he was so addicted to her that after nearly 15 years in America used to call and text her Belarus number nearly every day to be in constant touch with her. This portrait is the idea of dream relations when a couple becomes so unified that both parties merge and can substitute for each other.
