Exhibition Description:
The history of Visual Arts is a continuous historical fight for control over mind-control weapons, such as ideal beauty, sexual attractiveness, and physical, political, religious, cultural, and ideological superiorities. Methods to achieve superiority in the Military Arts sometimes include direct and remote zombification and special rituals. How many of us are zombies sometimes? Any one of us knows what zombification is. Beginning from the art of primitive cultures, ancient statues of Gods, voodoo rituals, and elements of the Christian faith to the invention of radio and television and Internet culture. Voodist programming practices have seriously influenced and formed history. Informational, personal, and political "zombification" is metaphorically drawn in this series of paintings, depicting cubist geometrized distorted and faceted human forms and ever-present radio waves as another dimension of reality. Nicholaas Chiao created these artworks based on the solid impact of telepathic attacks that the artist experienced for a long time in Brooklyn upon his resettlement in America. Chiao's artistic Influences include Pablo Picasso, Francis Bacon, and George Condo. His contribution to Neo-Cubism consists of using the Rule of halves in composition and skillfully deploying color theory to paintings. The Rule of halves in art composition is simple and consists of the knowledge that equally divided parts are always more beautiful for human perception.
