Artwork Description:
This portrait could be seen as unspeakably intriguing by some people and quite horrible by others. The artist dissected the image into sections and made it appear as seen from a few angles at once, to correspond with the idea of cubist painting. The sitter of this portrait is the power figure in the art collecting and this portrait was not an authorized portrait of her. However, it does not bear enough similarities to be immediately recognized. The whole series of unauthorized portraits of Art Collectors was the artist's mistake to be produced. It was done in 2012-2013.
