This painting of a Pope with the mirror is an inquiry to understand death and otherworlds. Heaven and Hell as life after life within the mirror image. There is no scientific proof of the existence of heaven and hell yet. Life in the future will more likely generally resemble life in Heaven, and some ideas of futurist prison could include lasting torture instead of the death penalty. Pope in the golden mirror is Pope in the otherworld, challenging the fears of death as an only and infinite, singular loss.
